The Derbyshire Treasure Hunt
Welcome to Free Spirit 4x4's Treasure Hunt Adventure 2011
The Peak District is an area of outstanding natural beauty
that has a stunning selection of legal rights of way. The treasure hunt will consist of a fun adventure road book packed with innovative clues and tasks for the day. There will be a full Roast dinner available at the finishing point where we will have a debriefing and an entertaining prize
giving.
The event will begin on the Sunday morning at 9.15am after a welcome talk/ Driver Briefing. The day will consist of four stages running through a varied green lane route with a planned lunch stop where food is at a reasonable cost. The route will consist of rocky and muddy sections which will require a minimum of a low box / diff lock option in your vehicle, there may also be some sections where the track is slightly overgrown. We will be following a respectful Green Lane practice throughout the day. At any one point groups will be no larger than 4 and the support team no more than 10 minutes away. Because you have a support team you do not have to worry about getting stuck or breaking down.
There will be a prize for the team with the most points as well as a wooden spoon prize for the team with the least.
You will receive an entry pack 7 days before the event confirming the start and finish locations, also any changes or important notices will be included within this.
